While we try to maintain compatibility as far back as it can be taken, 3DGE's features are constantly evolving and beginning to replace functions needed to run mods made with older versions. For the best compatibility with older mods, use the version it was
designed for, or use [[3DGE 1.36]] as its the last legacy version capable of true backwards compatibility.

Some of those mods can be patched to work with newer versions, however, unexpected or undefined behavior should be expected if not taken carefully into consideration when porting upstream.
